This screen saver shows a variety of shapes and colors made up of lines swirling around in different speeds on a black background.

The following are the new features included in v2.0 of Moire X: From the Moire Color section you can chose whether to have it randomly change colors or you can specify a color of your choice, in addition in the Moire Color section you can specify settings such as line thickness; you can change the speed of the screen saver; you can specify the number of lines used in the screen saver; and the preferences have been reorganized to look like the preferences do in the original Moire.
Newer version fixes some bugs that were in previous versions.
