TaskMenuBar is a control panel that uses the empty space on the menu bar to switch and launch applications, and to drag-and-drop files on applications.
Because it only uses the menu bar, unlike other utilities, it will never obscure or be obscured by other windows.
Features:
- Switch applications by clicking an application icon on the menu bar.
- Hide other applications by double-clicking an application icon.
- Launch an application by double-clicking the application icon. You can add stationary applications to the menu bar using the control panel.
- Open files by dragging-and-dropping files on an application icon.
Known Incompatibilities:
- TaskMenuBar does not work with some of Kaleidoscope schemes and themes from Apple.
- Glidel does not work with TaskMenuBar.
- Speed Doubler's file copy conflicts with TaskMenuBar.
